A jury in Florida has rendered a verdict of guilty in the trial of Michael Dunn for the 2012 murder of unarmed seventeen year old African American Jordan Davis.

Dunn was convicted of first-degree murder for shooting the teen after a verbal dispute over loud music.

The 47 year old fired at least ten times into the vehicle after demanding the four teens lowered the volume, three of which struck Davis in the lung, heart, and liver.

He is already facing up to 60 years in prison for three counts of attempted murder regarding the other occupants in the Dodge Durango, Leland Brunson, Tommie Stornes and Tevin Thompson.
