This past Sunday, celebrity DJ and Chef, Dallas Green kicked off his first “Eats and Beats Brunch” of the year at Le Souk in New York City.
Guests dined on his signature chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, Bellini’s and Mimosas to toast his upcoming appearance as the first DJ to compete on Food Network’s CHOPPED airing tonight, at 10PM ET/PT.
The “Game Day Party” episode marks Dallas’ first entry into competition cooking since launching his dessert company, Made From Scratch, named to represent his love of cooking and DJ’ing. Viewers can watch the episode with Chef DJ Dallas Green via Facebook Live (Facebook.com/DJDallasGreen) and cheer him on with #MadeFromScratch starting at 9:30PM ET/PT.
With Superbowl fever officially underway, Dallas Green will head to Houston. He’ll DJ a set at New Era’s in-store with Bun B during the day and evening events with 2 Chainz, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert and others.
For All-Star Weekend, his company, Made From Scratch will showcase at a VIP reception for the Global Spin Awards which will include his signature Red Velvet Popcorn that Entertainment Weekly named “…for the film fanatic” and Gotham Magazine said was “…Perfection.” Then, he will kick off festivities with New Era at their flagship store with Allen Iverson (2/16) and Emory Jones and Kelton Crenshaw (2/17). Dallas’ weekend will culminate DJ’ing at an event tied to some of the biggest names in the league.
