After slowly making a come up in Hollywood’s comedy scene, Tiffany Haddish has secured an hour long special on Netflix.
Lisa Nishimura, Netflix’s VP of Original Documentary and Comedy called Haddish “hilariously funny, brash and self-effacing.”
The Girls’ Trip superstar will also be doing the voiceover for an animated Netflix series Tuca and Bertie, wherein she will be playing a toucan.
These are big accomplishments for the comedian/actress who had a later start in her career. The 38-year-old even made history in Novemeber 2018 when she was crowned as the first Black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live.
Now successfully in her career Haddish has jokingly has tried paying back Kevin Hart the $300 he gave her to get a hotel before her big break. Since her tiresome years Haddish has become an A-lister, making bigger and better moves.
In the meantime, Haddish is set to appear in “Night School” with Kevin Hart releasing on September 28 and Tyler Perry’s “Nobody’s Fool” on November 2.
