Singer/songwriter Tebby was picked as the winner of NBC’s “Songland,” in one of their most recent episodes. Her song “We Need Love” was chosen by John Legend, which he performed on the show and has officially released as a single.
The songwriting competition series includes producers Ryan Tedder, Ester Dean, and Shane McAnally. All serve as mentors to four songwriters in each episode and help them develop their material. The show also consists of Adam Levine and Dave Stewart from The Eurythmics, as a few of its executive producers.
Although she took part in the series, the singer is not new to the music business. Her songwriting first linked her with Cool & Dre, Grammy award-winning producers who have worked with artists such as Fat Joe and The Game. The Bahamian singer has performed worldwide, and also recently opened up for singer Joss Stone.
