Amplifying black voices is essential to the progression of the Black community; especially during these recent events. Celebrities and social media is continuously playing a big part in making sure our stories are heard. That’s why Kevin Haft & Charlamagne Tha God have joined forces to magnify black voices through cultural conversations.
By partnering with the audiobook and podcast platform Audible, the humorous and community devoted duo will utilize Black creative talent to create Black stories across a multitude of genres. Hart and Charlamagne will bring together actors, writers, singers, and story tellers to create content sharing the various experiences of our lives for the media to hear.
According to Hart, this collaboration will give black people a greater start than ever before. Along with Hart, Charlamagne agreed that the programs are going to be “all the way Black.”
Together, these two are confident their projects will be adapted for future movie and TV programs. The details have yet to be completely confirmed but the pair is assuring the media platform dedicated to the Black narratives will officially be announced soon.
With the current state of media connected to the political issues that are consuming the media, Black voices are needed more than ever to shape the new normal that is coming into fruition for society. As time progresses, it’s great seeing the involvement of Black forces collectively giving the opportunity to cultivate media as we know it.
