R. Kelly has been convicted of a wide range of felonies including racketeering and sex trafficking this afternoon.
The troubled R&B singer faced a long list of allegations including coercion of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and violations of the Mann Act.
The Mann Act makes it illegal to transport minors across state lines for the purpose of sex.
Kelly was also convicted of crimes related to his former protégé, deceased singer Aaliyah such as bribing an official to obtain a fake welfare identification in order to illegally marry her while she was still in her early teens.
According to reports, over 40 witnesses testified for the prosecution with 11 of them accusing the singer/songwriter of sexual assault.
It has highly anticipated the singer is very likely to spend the remainder of his life in prison when sentenced.
