Rotation, Amazon Music’s hip-hop and R&B brand, announced it will stream Kendrick Lamar’s sold-out concert “The Pop Out – Ken & Friends” from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Juneteenth.
The event, presented by pgLang and Free Lunch, will stream at 4 p.m. PT on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video.
Streaming the concert on this day holds significance as Juneteenth celebrates the date when the last slaves were set free on June 19, 1865.
The livestream aligns with “Forever the Influence,” Amazon Music’s Black Music Month celebration. The initiative honors the contributions of Black artists, producers, and songwriters.
Amazon Music will also announce additional Amazon Music Originals and video content from influential Black artists for “Forever the Influence” in the coming weeks.
