honey-bxby

Asbury Park singer Honey Bxby delivers a bold message in her latest single, “Left Eye,” warning a lover not to push her to her breaking point. The song explores the emotional toll of betrayal, with Honey Bxby expressing the pain caused by a partner’s hurtful actions and words. She sings about her struggle to contain her anger and the temptation to act out, while using alcohol to cope with the heartache.

Produced by Worldwide Fresh, “Left Eye” features a reworked version of Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm” instrumental. Honey Bxby addresses the hurt of being called a “bitch” and how the betrayal fuels her desire to confront the person responsible. The track showcases her signature “chaotic R&B” sound, inspired by 90s neo-soul, and echoes the sentiment, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

“Creating ‘Left Eye’ was really dope,” Honey Bxby said. “I was super nervous at first about doing another sample, but I ended up loving the record, and I hope fans will too.”
