Ivy Productions and RockView Entertainment are coming together this holiday season for a cause close to their hearts: raising funds to combat cancer and spreading cheer to children in need. This year, the two organizations are hosting the 7th Annual Giveback Show, a charity concert benefiting the Sarcoma Foundation of America, and the 2nd Annual Toy Drive for Mount Sinai Pediatrics.
This year’s “Road to the Giveback” campaign, a community-driven initiative leading up to the event, has drawn attention and support for the cause, with ticket sales and donations steadily climbing. The Giveback Concert will be held at Brooklyn Music Kitchen, with toy collection sites set up across New York City, including Queens, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, as well as Elizabeth, New Jersey, through December 14.
Aiming to make an impact in two states this year, the event will bring together a diverse lineup of artists, including Noelle Kay, SP The Artist, Josh Banton, Q Williams, Young Murlin, Ray Pearson, Aria Soulz, J.Benzo, and Ace Bradley. Hosts S-Rock from RockView Entertainment and Candy Solid Circle from The New MVMT will guide the night’s program, while DJ Ace of Spades will provide music on the turntables.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Sarcoma Foundation of America in memory of Shawn Saguid. The event’s organizers have set a fundraising goal of $10,000, with current donations nearing the halfway point at $5,000. Toys collected through the drive will be distributed to children at Mount Sinai Pediatrics, providing comfort and joy to young patients battling juvenile cancers.
“We’re thrilled to see the community coming together for such a meaningful cause,” S-Rock said. “This event is a testament to the power of music to heal and bring hope.”
Tickets for the Giveback Show are available online at www.rockviewent.com/givebackshow, and those wishing to contribute directly can make donations at www.gofundme.com/f/give-back-for-shawn.
This year’s Giveback promises a night of music, unity, and giving, with each performance a tribute to those affected by cancer and an effort to help those fighting their own battles.
