Afro Nation, The World’s Biggest Afrobeats Festival, is Coming to Miami!

Afro Nation Miami 2023

Just a year ago, Afro Nation festivals were taking over countries like Puerto Rico, Ghana and Portugal. In Portugal, alone, over 40,000 festival-goers attended as Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Megan Thee Stallion headlined. The festival also landed on the island of Puerto Rico, marking its first time in North America!

As Afrobeats made its ascent on all the major charts, and the hearts of music lovers worldwide, it was only a matter of time before festivals would put a spotlight on the culture and music.

Afro Nation has proven itself to be the premier Afrobeats festival that has taken over the globe. The first events were in Portugal and have since continued to expand. Their attempt to showcase and celebrate the rise of African music, specifically amapiano, reggae, dancehall, hip hop, soca, and more, hasn’t fallen short of expectations.

This year, if you haven’t yet, be sure you’re buying tickets, and booking flights to witness Afro Nation firsthand. Their first stop of 2023? Miami, the festival’s first time in the southern city! Afro Nation will be in full effect on May 27th & May 28th.

The two-day festival boasts a line-up that includes Rema, Asake, Beenie Man, Dadju, CKay, and more. Burna Boy will headline Day 01, while Wizkid closes out Day 02. Major League DJZ, Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Musa Keys, Vigro Deep and TXC will also hit the Piano People Stage hosted by Uncle Vinny. According to Afro Nation, more artists and announcements will be shared in the coming days!
