“Dope Thief,” an upcoming crime drama series from executive producer and director Ridley Scott, is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on March 14, 2025.
The eight-episode series, created by Peter Craig, stars Brian Tyree Henry as Ray, a Philadelphia native who, along with his friend Manny (Wagner Moura), impersonates DEA agents to rob drug dealers. Their scheme takes a perilous turn when they inadvertently expose a major narcotics corridor on the Eastern Seaboard.
The ensemble cast includes Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen, and Ving Rhames.
“Dope Thief” is produced by Apple Studios in collaboration with Scott Free Productions.
