This isn’t one of those puff pieces where we praise a kid simply for being young. Eli is far more than that. He’s exceptionally gifted with a wide range of talent that most artists twice his age can’t even begin to match. He may be the most talented young person we’ve seen since Mike and we’d still bet on him.
When did you start performing?
My passion for performing started at 8 years old. I knew performing on stage was for me singing in my church choir and then in my school’s singing club. I had several performances throughout the year and each time, I never wanted the show to end.
Name some artists who have inspired or influenced you.
Several artists have influenced me including Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Prince and even Chris Brown. Michael Jackson’s career inspires me to be the ultimate entertainer and to have a great brand. The tone of MJ’s voice is rare and he had the dopest dance moves. He could just stand still and make his audience go crazy. I’ve always related to Prince because he was great at everything I’m working on now. Not only was he a great artist, but also a great producer and musician. If I had the opportunity to talk to him, I know we would have bonded musically. Everything about Bruno Mars is great – his style, the way he approaches his music, produces and delivers it, makes his audience feel good. I also give props to Chris Brown, especially early in his career.
How would you describe your style?
My style is pop with a fusion of R&B. Keep in mind I’m always evolving to become the best artist I can be, so I’m sure several genres will be incorporated throughout my career.
What separates you from other artists?
What separates me from other artists is that my vibe and artistry is diverse. I’m not only a recording artist but an all-around entertainer. An artist who wants to have several hit songs on the Billboard charts simultaneously like Cardi B, but more. I’m also a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and performer. I work hard to be great on each of those platforms and look forward to sharing my work with audiences around the world. My plans also include being an actor, music and media mogul, creating music for Film/TV and developing other artists.

I’ve performed on shows with Genuine, Lil Mo, Mya and Raheem DeVaughn. I’ve also had the opportunity to perform in front of Wyclef.
