Aretha Franklin Passes At 76

After gracing us one of the most soulful voices of all time, the legendary Aretha Franklin passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.

Franklin was surrounded by friends and family in her Detroit home and since the news has broke fans have went into immerse grieving as they remember the “Queen of Soul.”

The singer was known for incorporating her gospel background into an era of music swarming around sexuality. She gave us “Natural Woman” and “Respect,” those being among the list of her 18 Grammy’s.

Franklin has the honor of being named the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has performed for President Obama and the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
