As the month of February comes to a close, international superstar Robyn Fenty (better known as Rihanna) has much to celebrate, including the rise of her latest single “FourFiveSeconds” to No. 4 on the Billboard charts. While gearing for the release of her first animated film feature “Home” and its soundtrack, most of the month has also been seemingly dedicated to the promotion of “FourFiveSeconds” (featuring musical juggernauts Kanye West and Paul McCartney). Fresh off the heels of her critically acclaimed Grammy performance earlier in the month, reports suggests that Rihanna will “Run This Town” (not our town, but a town in Estonia according to Rolling Stone) when she embarks on a tour in July with Kanye West.
In addition to Rihanna’s latest musical successes, she is winning in the romance/friendship/whatever-it-is department with a rumored romance with “Wolf of Wall Street” star Leonardo DiCaprio. Whatever the outcome of their pairing, their connection is bound to produce something of Titanic proportions, as he is reportedly the mastermind behind the singer’s star-studded surprise party for her 27th birthday this past Friday. People Magazine reports that the noteworthy affair included the likes of Rihanna’s supermodel/ bad-girl counterpart Naomi Campbell, Jim Carrey, Bill Murray, “Empire” creator Lee Daniels, and legendary rocker Mick Jagger. The elite gathering is tangible evidence to, if not a blossoming romance, then (at the least) an advantageous and all-encompassing network that will ensure Rihanna’s future triumphs this year. With a mere six degrees of separation that exist in the Hollywood stratosphere (because everyone parties everyone apparently), the possible rewards of a conscious RihCaprio coupling are boundless.
