The legendary singers did not hold back with their selection of hits.
Brandy brought out her throwbacks like her 1994 hit, “I Wanna Be Down” and then brought us back to the present with her song featuring Chris Brown; “Put It Down.”
However, her musical selections did not seem to faze Monica who came out running with classics like “Don’t Take It Personal” and “U Should’ve Known Better”.
In the closing round, they ended the battle in the only way allowed; with their classic duet of “The Boy is Mine” from Brandy’s second album, Never Say Never.”
It was to great to for both artists set aside their rumored differences and bring closure to what many consider to be one of the longest running feuds in Black music.
