The issue also breaks down the top artists in each genre based on performance on the Billboard charts from Dec. 1, 2012 to Nov. 30, 2013. Justin Timberlake and Rihanna were named the Top R&B Male and Female Artists of 2013, while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis is the Top R&B/Hip Hop Group of the year.
