First of many.
Caitlin Clark just picked up her first accolade in the League. This past May, the Indiana Fever guard was named the WNBA Rookie of the Month! Clark is just the third player, in franchise history, to receive the honor—joining Aliyah Boston (May, June & August 2023) and Canadian, Natalie Achonwa (June 2015). Even though the Fever are currently riding a 1-8 record, Clark is dropping stats; averaging 17.6 points per game, 6.6 assists, 33 minutes per game, and 24 total three-pointers made.
At just 22 years old, she’s already tied with WNBA legend, Diana Taurasi, for the most threes made among all players this season. She is also second in total assists (59). To cap off her inaugural month in the W, Clark finished with 30 points against the Los Angeles Sparks on May 28th. It was the 27th time a Fever player had scored 30 or more points in a regular season game!
