After playing himself when he rushed to defend his arguably erratic fellow Chi-town native Kanye West, Chance The Rapper declined praise from Donald Trump and apologized for disappointed his fan base.
The problem arose from a tweet that seem to defend Kanye professing his love for Donald Trump in a series of posts on Twitter this week.

Chance immediately received backlash for making it Black Twitter’s issue with Donald Trump about political parties instead of Trump’s history of racist and discriminatory actions that started long before his entry into politics.
In response, he issued a statement via screenshots from the Notes App on his iPhone.
