The wait is finally over. Coachella has officially revealed the lineup for its 2023 festival scheduled for two weekends in April in Indio, California. Headlining the main stage will be Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean! As Spotify’s most-streamed artist in 2022, it was only right that Bad Bunny was one of the main features this year – after making an appearance in 2019. He is also the first-ever Latin American artist to be a headliner. BLACKPINK joins Bad Bunny as another first-timer, marking the first time an artist of Asian descent has ever headlined Coachella as well. Lastly, but most certainly not least, Frank ocean makes his return in a major way after being on hiatus for some time now.
Other notable names that will perform include Calvin Harris, Metro Boomin, Kali Chis, Gorillaz, Kaytranada, Rosalia, Pusha T, FKJ, Dominic Fike, Rae Sremmurd, and more. Diversity has always been a highlight of Coachella, where 125K+ fans immerse themselves in the music, fashion, and culture during the highly esteemed, three-day festival.
If you recall, last year was the festival’s return after the world was shut down due to the pandemic. Many deemed it a “successful comeback” despite the back-to-back cancellations, drawing thousands of attendees that included some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
Weekend 1 is set to kick off on April 14, as Weekend 2 will take place the following week on, starting on April 21. Presale begins this Friday, Jan. 13, and 11AM PDT.
