For fans waiting for new music from CorMega, the wait is finally over! CorMega announced the December 26th release of his new EP simply called MEGA on Instagram. Can’t wait for the new music? Pre-sales begin across all digital platforms on December 18th.
Produced entirely by Grammy Award winning multi-platinum producer, Street Runner, the Mega EP includes 5 songs: “Empty Promises,” “On Everything (I Try),” “Say No More,” “Genuine Article,” and “Live Your Best Life,” ft long-time collaborator, emcee/producer, Havoc. Mega \still has the street edge from The Realness and The True Meaning, but you hear a lyrical maturity from his last LP, Mega Philosophy, and his evolution not only as an artist but as a man.
While the wait between albums feels lengthy to his loyal fans, in between releases, CorMega blessed with handful of collabos most recently with “Real Ones,” featuring London-based vocalist, Autumn Sharif which was released on December 1st. He also teamed up with writer, Brian Kayser to co-author a book, “Understanding The True Meaning,” honoring the 15th anniversary of The True Meaning. The book is an in-depth look at his critically acclaimed album and features lyrical breakdowns from Mega as well as commentary from those involved in its release including his long-time publicist, Jackie O. Asare, producers, and behind-the-scenes team. Contributors included Alchemist, Buckwild, D/R Period, Hi-Tek, J. Waxx Garfield, J-Love and more.
