Reminisce “Remy Ma” Smith received great news yesterday regarding her criminal assault case as Assistant District Attorney Juan Maldonado announced the dismissal of charges.
Britney Taylor, who co-stars with Remy Ma on Love & Hip Hop: New York, accused the rapper of punching her in the face at an event.
Maldonado stated that the charges were dropped due to the inability to prove that assault took place the way Taylor said in her statement.
“After a thorough, months-long investigation, the people are moving to dismiss this case. We cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Taylor allegedly undermined the criminal case when she accused Remy’s husband Papoose of striking her and allowing his wife to take the charge in group chat messages that were made public.
