On Saturday a BET original movie “We Belong Together” is set to release with designer Draya Michele starring as the lead female role.
The film follows the life of a college professor, played by Charles Malik Whitfield, who ends up reviving his relationship with his ex-wife, played by Elise Neal. However, during the time the couple was divorced one of Whitfield’s students, played by Draya Michele, entices him into a sexual affair. When the time comes for the two to end their fling, Michele was not too pleased and you can see in the trailer where she threatened to kill the wife.
Michele is one of the project’s executive producers, making this a big investment among the many that she has already made over the past several years. Her fame is critically acclaimed due to her prominent role on Basketball Wives LA starting back in 2011.
Since leaving the show, however, Michele has found joy in her blended family with fiancé NFL Cornerback Orlando Scandrick, as well as, her multi-millionaire swim line Mint Swim. Alongside her swim line are her other clothing lines Beige & Coco and Fine Ass Girls..
Aside from modeling, Michele also acts occasionally. Her first gig was for The Will To Love, starring Marquis Houston and her second gig was theatre hit The Perfect Match with singer Cassie and entertainment host Terrence J.
How the mother of four balances it all. We do not know, but needless to saying she is killing the game!
