On December 30th, former UNLV ball player Dylan Gonzalez posted somewhat vague tweet labeling R&B singer Trey Songz a rapist.
”Trey Songz is a rapists. Lord forgive me I couldn’t hold that in another year. See you in 2022.”
While the tweet was widely covered by several media outlets, Gonzalez didn’t identify the victim of the alleged sexual assault until today.
”With what seems like endlessly recurring news of the alleged sexual assault committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well-known Las Vegas hotel,” she wrote in a statement released today.
According to reports, she is consulting with attorney George Vrabeck regarding her options.
Gonzalez’s claim follows a civil suit by Jauhara Jeffries who has accused Songz of assaulting her in Miami on New Year’s Day in 2018.
