The “I’m not pro-murdering babies” post is like explaining why Black Lives Matter to me.
Why do we have to make this clarification for wanting and DESERVING the right to choose? This body that bleeds every month and causes us to go through cyclic changes that are not always pleasant belong to US ladies. We do NOT have to make any clarifications💯 Damn all that!
The day of the fuckery is over. There are horrific things that have happened and/or happening to us DAILY, here are just a few big ones:
1.) Rape, Sexual Assault, Sexual Coercion, Statutory Rape, etc.
2.) Sexual Harassment at work, outside of work
3.) Sex Trafficking
4.) Sexual Molestation as minors
5.) Femicides in Honduras
6.) Unequal Payrate and Glass Ceilings at “Boy Club” corporations
Please feel free to add to the list!
No one is taking us by our hand and giving us clarifications as to why, when, and how. They are doing wtf they want and making decisions for our lives. Instead of giving anyone else the reasons as to why I believe in being pro choice, I have to take my daughter by the hand and prep her for this life as a woman.
I, as her mother, the giver of human life and ultimately the one that is responsible for making this human, have to explain to her why life is the way it is. I have to tell her that she is a target for god awful things that can happen to her just because she is a girl💯
She is the ONLY one that deserves an explanation!!!!
