We featured a lot of dope stuff in last month’s holiday gift guide. I have to admit that the pair of Mixcder E7 headphones were among my personal faves this year.
The sound from these very affordable headphones are equal if not superior to models that cost four to five times as much and they are very easy to use.
I recently took them out a bus trip from New York to Maryland and I can tell you that active noise canceling feature is amazing. Whether standing in Manhattan’s most crowded (and noisiest) subway terminal at Times Square or riding for several hours on a Greyhound bus, the E7 filtered out the background allowing me to enjoy Levina Lye’s More of Me EP in peace throughout my journey.
And, I didn’t have to worry about any cord entanglements due to wireless Bluetooth connectivity. The last thing you want is to be snagged on a subway turnstile when you have fifteen minutes to get from Grand Central to Port Authority on New York’s MTA.
I can say, as a renown audiophile, that the sound quality of the E7’s is exceptional and very competitive with top-of-the-line headphones from Bose or Beats. The bass knocks and the highs are crisp and clean, creating a perfect environment for you to get lost in whatever you’re enjoying.
Mixcder has definitely raised the bar in affordable headphones. You would be hard pressed to find anything remotely as good for under $300 (The current sale price is $59.99). I can only imagine how the higher end E8 and E9 models compare (Hint!).
