ESPN NBA Schedule Update: Boston Celtics Visit Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 2

Announced just moments ago, ESPN has made an adjustment to their upcoming NBA regular-season schedule. On Wednesday, November 2nd, the Boston Celtics, will hit the road to face the Cleveland Cavaliers. This matchup also replaces the previously scheduled Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls game, also to be played at 7:30 p.m.

As we’ve all seen, the Cavaliers have recently acquired Donovan Mitchell in a trade, and are confident heading into the new season.

Are they ready to face Jayson Tatum, and the defending 2021-2022 Eastern Conference champions?

For the Celtics, they boast a new roster of players as well. The revamped squad now includes Blake Griffin, Malcolm Brogdon, Danilo Gallinari, JD Davidson, Noah Vonleh, & a few other players who are looking to get a spot on the team. After all of the post-season drama, the C’s also have a new head coach in Joe Mazzulla!

Coming off of their ECF win, and Finals run, the Celtics are on a mission as they look to make another appearance (deep) in the post-season. But can the new guys fit in with the team’s core, and can Coach Joe Mazzulla bear the weight of high expectations? We’re all waiting to find out!

Expect this game to be an intense, yet entertaining match-up, and a preview of what’s to come for both teams as the season unfolds.

Following the game at 10 p.m., ESPN will televise a Western Conference showdown Presented by State Farm as the Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard host the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant.

All ESPN games are also available to stream via the ESPN App.
