Food for Thought: Friendship

Friendship; lost to current generation diluted by technology, face buried in free WiFi at coffee shops quieter than libraries. If it falls away, who will be standing next to you in your truth? Aren’t people hungry for full disclosure anymore? Where is the connection outside of filtered Instagram lunch specials?

I want to kiss your tears, feel your fears and embellish in your dreams with you. I feel good when I hear you laugh, on those late night rides where it’s just me, you and the music we become masters in philosophy, experts on life, confessionals and comedians all under the ancient moon.

The real meaning of ride or die is to uplift and love. You have given me all of the above, unconditional, unyielding and ageless love. You are…
