Rapper Gunplay, real name Richard Morales Jr., has been arrested after allegedly threatening his wife and infant with a weapon during a domestic dispute.
The incident unfolded on Saturday evening (Aug. 19) in their Carol City, Florida home. Reports suggest an argument escalated, leading Gunplay to allegedly brandish a firearm in the presence of his wife Vonshae Taylor-Morales and baby.
Police arrived promptly in response to a distress call, apprehending Gunplay without further incident. Charges include assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, and child endangerment.
This incident follows an incident during his birthday celebration in Miami a few weeks ago where Gunplay threatened to shoot up a strip club after DJ played songs made by rival rapper 50 Cent.
Gunplay is currently held at awaiting a bail hearing. His spouse has announced plans to file for a divorce.
