HBO has unveiled the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the original drama series House of the Dragon. Set to premiere on Sunday, June 16, from 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, the show will also be available for streaming on HBO Max.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s book “Fire & Blood,” the series delves into the rich history of House Targaryen, unfolding events 200 years before the iconic “Game of Thrones” saga.
Returning cast members include Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additionally, new faces join the ensemble, with Abubakar Salim portraying Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
