Celebrating 15 years, Arts, Beats and Lyrics (AB+L) made a stop in November in the historic hip-hop mecca of Brooklyn, New York during its nation-wide tour – bringing fusions of urban art and music to create a one-of-a-kind cultural experience to everyone from the seasoned art collector to the social media enthusiast.
AB+L featured interactive tech-centric installations and visual art exhibits from renowned artists such as Tim Okamura, Adeyemi Adegbesan and AB+L’s very own curator, Dubelyoo.
Guests also enjoyed a headlining performance by Dreamville Records artist, Bas.
Established in 2004, Art, Beats and Lyrics has grown from an annual Atlanta art and music showcase into a traveling exhibition. It’s become the most anticipated national tours of urban art and music and it celebrates its 15th year anniversary.
The annual cultural experience and exhibition, presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Cult Creative, kicks off its celebratory year with a multi-city tour, highlighting an epic fusion of visual art and hip-hop.
“For the past 15 years, Art, Beats and Lyrics has celebrated artists who have played a significant role n bringing hip-hop’s visual and musical culture to the forefront,” says Dubelyoo, curator of Art, Beats and Lyrics. “Along with our partners at Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, we’re excited to ontinue to break boundaries, connect creatives with various opportunities, and provide the nation ith such a rich, unique cultural experience.”

Art, Beats & Lyrics kicked off October 18th in St. Louis, MO and visited the following cities as a part of the tour: Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; and two new stops in Greensboro, NC and Brooklyn, NY.
