Disloyal, a narcissist, a coward and a quitter. These were a few of the word Cleveland Cavalier owner Dan Gilbert used to describe Lebron James when the latter decided to play for the Miami Heat.
After four trips to the NBA Finals, winning two championships, LeBron has decided to return home.
“Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It’s where I walked. It’s where I ran. It’s where I cried. It’s where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I’m their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me.”
According to report, Cleveland is welcoming him back with open arms despite the contempt they’ve shown for 2010 televised “Decision.”
But don’t expect any major event or public displays to accompany his return. The King is focused on other things.
“I’m not having a press conference or a party,” James told SI. “After this, it’s time to get to work.”
