The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 119-102 on Friday night in Los Angeles. LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points, eight assists, three rebounds, and two 3-pointers. Austin Reaves added 20 points on 6-of-18 shooting, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc, along with seven rebounds and eight assists.
Trae Young paced the Hawks with 33 points and nine assists in a losing effort.
With the win, the Lakers improved to 20-14, while the Hawks dropped to 18-17. The Lakers hit the road next to face the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. ET (Space City Home Network/Spectrum SportsNet). The Hawks continue their West Coast swing against the Clippers on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 10:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV).
