According to reports, Niatia Jessica Kirkland, better known by her stage name Lil Mama, was arrested at 4 am this morning for driving without a license.
The arrest occurred after the 27-year-old rapper was pulled over for speeding at ten miles over the limit.
Police sources are quoted as saying she was doing at least 38 MPH in a 25 MPH zone near Fifth Avenue and West 135th Street.
At press time, there’s no information regarding whether she is still in police custody.
