Lil Wayne Apologizes for Black Lives Matter Comments

We don’t know what’s going on with the Young Money CEO, but Lil Wayne has been putting his foot in his mouth a lot lately.

During a Nightline interview, Lil Wayne distanced himself from the Black Lives Matter movement, saying “If you [feel connected], you crazy as shit. You. Not the camera. You. Feeling connected to something that ain’t got nothing to do with you? If it ain’t got nothing to do with me, I ain’t connected to it.”

Of course, that didn’t go over well with the masses. Feeling the backlash, Weezy decided to make amends – sort of.

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and response my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”

Lil Wayne’s latest public relations fiasco follows controversial comments he made on Undisputed about never experience racism.
