Brooklyn’s very own, Maino is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Urban Magazine now available online via the Joomag app and website.
“Right now when you think of hip-hop from New York’s largest borough, you have to acknowledge Maino as one of its most authentic emcees,” explains BE’N ORIGINAL, Urban Magazine’s publisher, and editor-in-chief. “Very few artists in rap are as genuine in real life.”
In the interview with Shamika Sanders-Sykes, Maino discusses his latest mixtape Party & Pain, New York hip-hop, and his future endeavors.
“Everybody wants a legacy. Everybody wants to be known for something. If somebody asked me ‘Maino, what kind of music you make?’ I know I rap, but what are you bringing to the game? I feel like my music is Party & Pain. I feel like that’s the kind of music I’m great at”.
Joining Maino in the winter issue, there’s coverage on production genius Will A Fool, director Greg Ellis, Mike City, Yung Martez, G-Eazy, Sade Serena and spectacular photos of Cardi B and Diplo.
