Do celebrities have an obligation to provide and care for family members because they are rich? Well, Mariah Carey’s family thinks so.
Her sister, Alison Carey pleaded in a video published by Daily Mail for help to save her life. In the video she says, “Mariah I love you, I desperately need your help.”
Alison is a recovering addict and HIV positive. She is also economically challenged.
Their brother Morgan blasted the singer as ‘an evil witch’ making claims that she is refusing to pay for medical treatments for their dying sister.
He called her heartless because she refused to pay for Alison’s brain and spine surgery. Mariah is worth an estimate of $520 million and is engaged to billionaire James Packer.
Alison on the other hand is a former prostitute and a mother of four. She worked as a prostitute in New York to clothe and feed her family before Mariah found fame.
The sisters have not spoken since their argument in 1994. Morgan and Mariah had a falling out over his disapproval of her marriage to Nick Cannon. He believes that Mariah is only in love with herself and her $5 million engagement ring.
