The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Boston Celtics, 122-84, in Game 4 of the NBA Finals presented by YouTube TV, narrowing the series deficit to 3-1.
Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 29 points, 25 of which came in the first half, with five rebounds and five assists. Kyrie Irving added 21 points, six assists, and four rebounds, while Dereck Lively II contributed 11 points, 12 rebounds, and a +20 rating. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting from beyond the arc, all in the fourth quarter.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Sam Hauser added 14 points and four rebounds.
Game 5 is scheduled for Monday, June 17, in Boston at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC.
