ITN Studios, known for its horror reimaginings, has released Mouseboat Massacre, a new slasher film directed by Andrea M. Catinella (Piglet, Island of the Dolls 2). The film is now available for Video on Demand on Amazon.
The story follows a young woman struggling with drug addiction who becomes tormented by a mutated mouse-human hybrid.
“This is balls-to-the-wall mayhem. We have really gone for the gore in this movie and think audiences will be very pleased with how nasty the mouse can be,” said producer Rene August (Cinderella’s Curse). August teased one of the film’s gruesome kills: “One death features an actual, literal human-sized mousetrap killing someone, and a cheese grater/knife hybrid as the mouse’s weapon of choice.”
The cast includes Jay Robertson (Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare), Kathi DeCouto (War of the Worlds: The Attack), Atlanta Moreno, Lauren Leppard (Psych), Victor Rios (Aaja Mexico Challiye), and Natasha Tosini (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honey).
