The owners of Atlanta based DBS Sounds have no loss of words when it comes to Tamar Braxton. The independent music store issued the following letter for publication.
DBS Sounds, an independent music store in the Metro Atlanta area has been in business 20 years. We pride ourselves on quality customer service, as we know that our existence is through our loyal CUSTOMERS.
On September 14th, 2013, Tamar Braxton cancelled a scheduled in-store event with DBS Sounds, greatly disappointing our customers. We were told the day of that cancellation that Tamar Braxton’s would visit a DTLR store instead.
Tamar Braxton was scheduled and committed to appear at DBS Sounds again today, Saturday, November 2, 2013 and once again, the event was cancelled. Today’s event was cancelled without regard for the fans/customers who were once again expecting to greet her. This time, the excuse is she has a video shoot.
We work hard ensuring that our customers are treated with respect and they have in turn pledged their loyalty. Tamar Braxton seems out of touch; all of that talk about “Tamartians,” perhaps they are a particular group from another planet. Obviously, DBS Sounds customers in Atlanta are not important to Tamar Braxton.
Shame on you, Tamar Braxton, shame on you. DBS Sounds demands an apology to its customers. Also, please know that we are no longer interested in Tamar Braxton visiting our store and we are no longer interested in promoting someone who does not respect the source (fans/customers) that drives their success.
