New Episodes of Bounce’s “In the Cut” on Brown Sugar This July

Brown Sugar, Bounce’s popular subscription video-on-demand service, will stream brand-new season four episodes of the hit sitcom In the Cut, starring Dorien Wilson and Kellita Smith, on Tuesdays starting tonight with seasons one through three available anytime. In The Cut season four episodes debut on Bounce Monday nights.

Other new titles on Brown Sugar this month include the 2004 comedy The Cookout. Queen Latifah, who wrote the movie, Ja Rule, Tim Meadows, Jenifer Lewis and Meagan Good star.

Also new: Blackstar Warrior, an original new blaxploitation-meets-Star Wars comic mashup starring Leonard Roberts (Drumline, Love Jones). Set in a 1970s version of the future, the tongue-in-cheek film follows space detective Tyson Roderick (Roberts) who, in his quest to discover the truth behind his origins, stumbles into-and-must defeat a cult hellbent on taking over the galaxy.

Back by popular demand in July: I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, Bucktown, Across 110th Street, Five on the Black Hand Side, Drum and They Call Me Mister Tibbs, Akeelah and the Bee and more.
