GRAMMY®-nominated soul icon Marsha Ambrosius has released her new single, “Greedy,” from her upcoming album, CASABLANCO. The album was executive produced by Dr. Dre. Accompanied by string and horn sections, Ambrosius delivers a genre-bending vocal performance, blending scat, hip-hop, jazz, and R&B to tell the story of a tumultuous relationship.
The track was produced by Ambrosius, Dre, Erik “Blu2th” Griggs, and Focus…. “Greedy” nods to Leon Russell’s “This Masquerade” and OutKast’s “SpottieOttieDopaliscious” while incorporating a sample of “Abm_analogic 145bpm” by Jeff Baranowski and Luke Milano.
