Pandora and SoundCloud have announced the launch of “Afrobeats by SoundCloud,” the newest station featuring a global rhythm of sounds from the hottest artists in the scene like Wizkid, Burna Boy, CKay, Bloody Civilian, Arya Starr, and more.
Originating from West Africa with a fusion of new flavor and inspiration from legendary Ghanaian and Nigerian artists, Afrobeats is exploding worldwide.
“Afrobeats by SoundCloud” is the latest station following the release of the “SoCal Soul by SoundCloud” station on Pandora, which dropped in celebration of “SCENES: SoCal Soul” – an episode from SoundCloud’s award-winning music discovery series amplifying the rising, culture-shifting collectives bubbling up on the platform.
