You have to admit it. You were kind of happy that Holly (Lucy Waters) died last night on the latest episode of Power.
That’s not to say that you relish in the fact that she was a victim of domestic violence or applaud violence against women.
Of course, putting hands on a woman is never the right thing to do, but….
Yet somehow, you felt indifferent if only for a moment as Tommy (Joeseph Sikora) choked the life out of her trifling ass.
In many ways, if there was one fictional female character who deserved a horrible death since the FBI agent on Sons of Anarchy, it’s Holly.
And the internet celebrated in its normal relentless fashion.
I see the producers of @Power_STARZ FINALLY heard the voice of the people & let #Holly go!! We are pleased #Power pic.twitter.com/tnGxcm8gnp

I uttered I hate Holly like I do every week and then #Power did the greatest thing ever.

On a more positive morally influenced note, we are glad that Ghost (Omari Hardwick), and especially his son, were saved from that ambush. It was also good to see Tommy and Ghost reunite against their common enemy. Hopefully, Tasha (Naturi Naughton) will keep Holly’s pregnancy a secret since it will only add to Tommy’s hurt.
We commend 50 Cent and Starz for delivering the best episode of Power to date, arguably the best episode on cable this entire season.
