The principal of operations, Zatiti Moody, of the New Jersey high school where Fetty Wap recorded his recent music video for the song “Wake Up,” has been placed on administrative leave.
The school district is in the process of investigating how Fetty Wap was permitted to record the video, which includes drug references and a pole dancer, at his old high school.
The rapper believes that Moody did the right thing by allowing him to show love to his community.
“I went back to my old high school because I love my city,” Fetty Wap explained. “I wanted to show the students of Paterson that someone who walked those same hallways they walk every day and sat in the same classrooms shown in the video has become successful. If I can do it they can do it too.”
