King Blues Club in Times Square, the performance of a lifetime, running through their popular singles including Sunshine, Lay Down, I’ll Die, and Feelings before introducing one song from their respective solo projects.
From the perfectly timed spectacular lighting sequences to the venue’s sound system that could easily be an audiophile’s acoustic heaven, the experience rivaled the best music halls across the country.
Marsha Ambrosius showcased why she is considered by our editorial team to be one of the top five female songstresses in music today, navigating from the lowest to highest notes flawlessly with amazing control and power. Simply put, she sings better than the most articulate speak.
Combined with Natale Stewart’s poetic delivery, organic brilliance and her ability converse raw emotions with vivid imagery and word play, Floetry is more than a duo. They are two sides of a rare and priceless coin that spins with complete synergy.
A Floetry show isn’t something that you just watch and hear, you submerge in the experience until you lose and find yourself – often in the same moment.
However, no Floetry performance would be complete without certain songs, something Natalie acknowledged before warning the crowd that what would follow was for the grown and sexy.
