Kevin Mcglynn, 53, was held without bail Friday at his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court for dropping off three terrifying letters to Rihanna’s Soho Lafayette St. apartment in New York.
Mcglynn left letters that referred to her as a “b—ch”, and threats to break into her apartment. These events occurred are in addition to four letters that he sent via U.S. Postal Service.
The suspect was allegedly caught on video surveillance on three occasions this month delivering the unsettling missives to a Rihanna employee, according to court records.
“The nature of these letters (is) confusing. They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist,” Assistant District Attorney James Vinocur told the judge.
Mcglynn is being accused of going to her Lafayette St. building at 6:30 a.m. and again around midnight on July 8th.
On the man’s third visit around noon the next day, he left behind a benefits card with his personal information on it and it helped the cops identify and arrest him.
Mcglynn was held without bail in Manhattan Criminal Court with stalking, menacing and harassment.
