Rapper Sexyy Red was involved in a massive brawl at Newark Liberty International Airport over the weekend, leading to her arrest, according to security footage released by TMZ on Tuesday.
The video shows the “Pound Town” rapper, wearing a red bonnet, and her entourage scuffling with others inside the airport. Sexyy Red is seen swinging a pole during the melee, but she does not appear to hit anyone with it. She is pushed to the ground and seemingly walks away after getting back to her feet.
Security personnel eventually broke up the fight, and at least one person was arrested.
Authorities detained Sexyy Red early Saturday morning on disorderly conduct charges. Others involved in the altercation were booked on assault charges, while the alleged victims received medical treatment for minor injuries.
The “SkeeYee” star seemed to be in good spirits following the incident, posting a video on social media saying, “Good morning! I’ve just got out.”
She also wrote, “To the people that was in that altercation at the airport please dm me so I can replace yo phone!!”
