New York based nonprofit Shop-BOB Cares will celebrate their newest initiative, the Youth Positivity Outreach Program this weekend on August 7th from 12-6pm. This event is in partnership with WBLS-FM Lenny Green’s 17th Annual Family Day.
The festivities will take place at Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn, New York, and is planned to be a fun-filled event focusing on today’s youth.
“Our mission is to create a safe space for kids in our communities to have fun for free.”
Some of the many activities planned for the day include live musical performances, a fashion show, jumbo carnival games, face painting and more.
Shop-BOB host Jenelle Simone who is known for her acting roles in several major television shows including Law & Order: Organized Crime, Manifest, and Marvel’s Jessica Jones will co-host the event with the legendary radio personality.
