Syleena Johnson, Leela James, Lexi Allen, Mariah, and Anita Wilson Honor Zeta Phi Beta’s Founders’ Day

In celebration of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated’s 105th Founders’ Day, a powerful rendition of the Zeta Hymn was performed by Syleena Johnson, Leela James, Mariah Hester, Lexi Allen, and Anita Wilson. The heartfelt tribute honored the sorority’s legacy of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.

The Zeta Hymn, written by Anita Turpeau in 1924 and composed by Audrey B. Robinson in 1953, is a cherished piece of the organization’s history. This special performance paid homage to Zeta Phi Beta’s founders—Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, and Fannie Pettie Watts, also known as the Five Pearls.

The singers’ harmonious presentation highlighted the enduring values of the sorority, inspiring members and supporters while celebrating more than a century of impact and sisterhood.
