A judge said he would order  Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez to be transferred to house arrest due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the prison system.

Hernandez falls into a high-risk category due to having been diagnosed with asthma.

Over 5,000 people have died nationwide as the virus continues to spread across the country.

The controversial rapper was sentence to 17 months in prison after cooperating with federal authorities in their investigation of the Nine-Trey Bloods street gang.

Federal prosecutors had until 5pm April 1st to make a case against Hernandez serving his remaining time under house arrest. Surprisingly, United States Attorney Geoffrey Berman chose not to oppose it.

At press time, the location where the rapper will be staying remains unknown while it is widely speculated that his life will be endangered should the information become publicly available.
